Lunch n’ Bats

Instead of telling you guys about a grandiose adventure I had this week, I have decided to talk about a more wholesome tale. One of adventure, relaxation, and enjoyment. The week starts simple, with a single sentence, a proposition; “Hey Lamont, Want to come to lunch with us?”. At first I declined, due to the insufficient funds on my person. After being assured that my lack of funds would not be a catastrophic factor to the enjoyment of others, and not only that, but the fact that someone would indeed be able to cover my bill for the foray into a resturaunt, I changed my initial declination to a statement of gratitude, and joined the fellows on an adventure to satisfy our most basic survival requirement; food.

We hopped in a automobile best described as adequate, and push the domino that would roll us to our destination. In all reality the car was actually more then adequate, the only hinderance was the amount of bodies packed into a sudan. I also acknowledged that the car’s owner has some interesting literature, particularly about rebels and rebellions, and so my humble opinion of the owner increased tri-fold. The locale at the establishment was also best described as adequate, and embedded within was a batting cage, whose prices were questionably high. I marked it off as a business trying to hit the bottom line.

The locale at the establishment was also best described as adequate, and embedded within was a batting cage, whose prices were questionably high. I marked it off as a business trying to hit the bottom line. The food was sufficient, and about as good as fish and chips at a baseball area could be. We partook in the excitment of the batting cages, all remarking on the ludicrious amount of currency needed to enjoy one of man’s simple pastimes of hitting flying objects with a hardy pole. All in all the lunch outing was fun, and even though we mistook the clock and arrived to class a unfashionably late, I enjoyed the good bonding time and food of the day,

The Music

“Why did I write this blog post so weirdly?” you may ask, and the response to that would be “I don’t know”. Lets get to the song! (it will be uploaded later)
